One way we can help resolve many current economic and employment issues is by developing a new domestic energy program. This can have a twofold effect. First, we can create sustainable domestic jobs within a contemporary growth industry; secondly, we can reduce our dependence on foreign oil. The independence from foreign oil will make our country stronger. The jobs that are produced can only be performed locally. This will guarantee longevity and sustainability to the jobs created.
